Sign in & confirmation

Choose Discover my elements to enter your name, birth date and birthplace in three free steps. Add your birth time too for a more accurate reading. Without creating an account, you can then see all three reveals: your personal element, birth-year sign and This is you. After the third reveal, create and verify a free account to keep your chart, save personal data and open the full personal app, including Daily, Guardian, Life Path and Connections. Returning users can choose Sign in at the top of the welcome screen.

Demo preview opens Alex’s sample chart immediately, without an account or birth-detail form. Jamie is the sample connection. Explore the app or open Settings → Replay my welcome story to see Alex’s three reveals. Sample identities stay fixed. Choosing to use your own details or edit a demo profile or connection starts the same free personal entry and reveal flow; the account step comes after your third reveal. Demo changes stay in the current tab and reset on exit or refresh. Demo Guardian uses guided answers and does not send questions to AI.

1. After creating an account, look for the Karmori confirmation email. Check spam or junk if it is missing.
2. Open its confirmation link, then return to Karmori and sign in if prompted. Keep using the browser where you entered your birth details.
3. If you forgot your password, choose Sign in → Forgot password?, enter your account email and use the reset link in the new email.

A confirmation or reset link may expire or have already been used. For a reset, request a new link and use the newest email. Do not share these links or your password.

Google sign-in is shown when enabled. Its consent screen may say “Netlify Identity”, the service Karmori uses for accounts. Use the sign-in method connected to your existing account.

Your unfinished birth-details draft is kept as you move through entry, reveals and the account step. Compatible drafts from earlier versions are preserved too; opening the welcome screen or sample demo does not replace them. Drafts expire after 24 hours and are removed when Karmori next checks them, after onboarding finishes, or when device data is cleared. Creating an account does not move a draft to another browser or device.

Enter your birth details

Use the time on your birth record

Choose an hour from 1–12, a minute from 00–59, and AM or PM. For 4:16 PM, choose 4 · 16 · PM. Noon is 12:00 PM; midnight is 12:00 AM.

If the time is unknown, choose I don’t know my birth time. You can still see your personal element and readings. Karmori uses the chart possibility covering the largest part of your local birth date; an equal share uses the earlier possibility. Other possibilities appear beside your personal element with an option to edit your birth details. Your time remains unknown and no hour is invented.

Choose your birthplace

In Where were you born?, search your country or nearest listed city, then select the region that covers your birthplace. A country can have more than one time zone. If you previously saved a town name, it stays visible until you select a replacement; a new selection saves the city and country shown in the list.

The calculation includes historical clock changes. It uses local civil time, without apparent solar-time correction. If a clock change makes your birth minute ambiguous, Karmori keeps the alternatives visible.

While signed in, open Settings → Edit birth details using the pencil beside your profile to correct saved details. Replay my welcome story replays the three reveals using your saved details; in the demo it uses Alex’s sample. The separate Calendar location setting controls Daily and Life Path dates; it does not change your birthplace.

Understand a reading

About You explains your personal element and birth-year sign. They come from different parts of your chart. Element counts show what is present; they are not measured percentages of strength.

In Daily, select a date and open a life area for its reading and chart context. Use Today to return to the current date in your calendar region. Bars describe the reading’s relative emphasis, not your chance of good luck.

Life Path adds annual, monthly and cycle context when your access includes it. Annual and monthly readings remain available when your birth time is unknown. Precise ten-year start dates still need a recorded birth time, and an unspecified cycle convention can leave more than one direction.

Save & restore your space

Your chart, connections, check-ins, reflections and saved dates stay in this browser. Signing in on a different device does not automatically restore them.

1. Open Settings → Export my space to download a backup.
2. Keep the file somewhere private. It can contain your birth details and notes.
3. To bring it back, open Settings → Restore a backup, choose the file and review its contents.
4. Replace with this backup replaces the current device’s space. Export that space first if you want to keep it.

A backup is read on the device; restoring it does not upload the file. It does not include your password or restore an account’s AI allowance.

Delete your information

Clear information on this device

Open Settings → Clear device data, review the warning and confirm. This removes this browser’s profile, connections, check-ins, reflections and saved dates. Export a backup first if needed. It does not delete your account or copies on other devices.

Delete your Karmori account

If you want to remove both your local space and your account, export anything you want to keep and clear device data before deleting the account. Settings requires a verified sign-in, which will no longer be available after account deletion.

While signed in, open My account or Settings → Your Karmori account, then choose Delete Karmori account. Type DELETE and confirm.

The account flow requests removal of your sign-in, saved Guardian AI replies, access grants and usage records. Read the result: Deletion requested means cleanup is still pending; it is not a completed-deletion confirmation. A minimal security record remains to block old sessions.

If you already deleted your account, use your browser’s settings to remove Karmori’s site data. Account deletion leaves charts and notes on your devices, and exported backups must be removed separately.

Offline access & updates

Open Settings → Install & offline access for installation instructions. Keep Karmori open online while it saves the app files.

An internet connection is needed to verify sign-in when you open Karmori. Saved details remain on the device when you are offline. AI answers and browser speech services need an internet connection.

Initial app-file setup does not show an update prompt. When a newer version is ready to replace the one already running, choose Review update. Save any open form or draft before choosing Refresh now; unsaved text in that tab will be lost. Your saved space stays. Choose Keep working to refresh later.

Ask The Guardian

Ask about your BaZi chart, Chinese astrology, or a work, relationship or money question connected to your reading. For example: “How does this day relate to my chart for a work discussion?” The Guardian does not serve as a general restaurant, shopping or entertainment assistant.

The question box identifies guided answers or AI answers. AI requires verified sign-in, available allowance and your permission before sending. Opening a reading does not automatically ask AI.

When AI is available, free access includes one sample answer per account, not two questions a day. Activated Plus and Pro accounts have monthly allowances. The account’s displayed balance and access period determine availability. If AI is unavailable, follow the status message; a guided response is not an AI answer.

AI can make mistakes. It cannot guarantee an outcome or decide whether to stop medication, invest money or take legal action. Check the calculated context and seek appropriate professional advice for those decisions.

Plans & payments

Settings → Plans & pricing shows what each plan includes. While a plan says “preview” or “not yet on sale”, there is no checkout and nothing is charged.

When a plan is on sale, sign in and choose it to open Stripe’s secure checkout. Your plan unlocks once the payment is confirmed; if it does not, choose Refresh membership. To cancel, open Manage subscription in the same screen on the Karmori website. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
