On your device

Your profile and birth details, chart, connections, check-ins, reflections and saved date plans are kept in this browser’s local storage. The web app calculates ordinary readings here. These items do not automatically sync through your account.

Discover my elements lets you enter your name, birth date, and birthplace and optional time without an account. Your chart and all three reveals are calculated in this browser for free; the account step follows the third reveal. A verified free account is required to keep the chart, save personal data and use the full personal app. If your birth time is unknown, it stays unknown: the app selects a primary chart for its readings and shows alternatives without inventing or saving a time.

Demo preview opens fixed public samples named Alex and Jamie without asking for personal birth details. The sample profiles cannot be edited. Choosing to use your own details or edit a demo profile or connection starts the separate free personal onboarding and three reveals, with the account step afterward. Demo activity stays in the current tab’s memory and resets on exit or refresh; it remains separate from your saved profile and is not sent to the AI service. Your unfinished onboarding draft, including a compatible draft from an earlier version, is preserved through entry, reveals and the account step; visiting the welcome screen or demo does not overwrite it. Unfinished drafts expire after 24 hours and are removed when Karmori next checks them. They are also removed after onboarding is completed or device data is cleared.

Someone with access to this browser or an exported backup may be able to read these details. Clearing browser storage can remove your space. Use Export my space before changing devices or clearing data.

Your account

Karmori uses Netlify Identity for sign-in. The account holds your email and optional account name. If you choose Google sign-in, your basic Google profile and email are shared with the sign-in service.

Creating an account does not upload your birth chart or subscribe you to marketing emails. Personal birth-detail entry and the first three reveals do not require an account. Karmori checks your signed-in account online before opening the full personal app, including Daily, Guardian, Life Path, Connections and saving. The public sample demo remains available without an account and cannot unlock your saved personal space or AI allowance.

Guardian account, access and usage records are held on Karmori’s server to verify access, enforce allowances and control AI cost. These records are separate from your device’s chart and notes.

When you ask Guardian AI

You choose whether to share information before sending an AI question. Without that permission, the AI request is not sent.

1. Karmori receives your question, recent conversation and birth date, birth time and time-zone region to calculate the answer’s chart context. Profile name and birthplace text are excluded from the request. Raw birth details are used for that calculation and are not saved in the Guardian database.
2. OpenAI receives your question, up to eight recent conversation messages and calculated chart context. Karmori does not include your profile name or raw birth details in that model context.
3. Your own words matter: anything you type into a question or recent chat can reach the model. Avoid including private information you do not want to share.

Karmori’s retry-recovery system is configured to keep AI answer text for 72 hours and schedule hourly cleanup of expired text. Usage and request records can remain until account deletion. This schedule describes the implementation; it does not certify that each live cleanup has run.

OpenAI has its own data-handling rules. Disabling model-response storage in the API request does not mean every provider record is immediately deleted. Deleting your Karmori account does not certify deletion of all records held by other service providers.

Guided answers use Karmori’s authored library and calculated relationships. They are identified separately from AI answers. A saved reflection is stored on your device. Guardian chats are also saved in this browser so you can reopen them from the chat list; they do not sync through your account. Delete one from the chat list, or all of them with Clear device data.

Website & voice services

Netlify delivers the website and receives technical request information such as your IP address. Ordinary page requests do not include your birth details. App fonts and artwork are served with the site and may be cached for offline use.

Karmori counts anonymous steps, such as opening the welcome page, the reveals, account creation, Daily and Guardian questions, with the day and a general source such as Instagram or Google. These counts use no cookies, store nothing on your device and do not include your IP address, account or birth details. A Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal turns them off.

Microphone input and spoken replies begin when you choose those controls. Your browser’s speech provider may process audio or spoken text under its own policies. Using the text box avoids microphone input.

Your controls

Keep or move your saved space

In Settings, choose Export my space. Keep that backup private. Restore a backup reads the file on your device and replaces the current local space after you confirm.

Clear this device

Settings → Clear device data removes your local chart and saved items from this browser. It does not close your Karmori account, erase other devices or remove backup files you downloaded.

Delete your account

If you also want to remove your local space, export anything you want to keep and use Clear device data before deleting the account. Settings requires a verified sign-in.

While signed in, open your account dialog and choose Delete Karmori account. The flow requests removal of your sign-in, saved AI replies, access grants and usage records. If the result says cleanup is pending, deletion has not fully completed.

A minimal opaque account identifier and deletion timestamps remain to block old sessions. Account deletion does not clear local charts and notes. After account deletion, use your browser’s settings to remove Karmori’s site data and remove any exported copies you no longer want.
