Karmori is provided by DREAMEC STUDIOS LTD (“Dreamec”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17304431, registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact: studio@dreamec.com.
Karmori interprets your birth date, time and place using traditional Chinese BaZi (Four Pillars) symbolism and offers daily readings, longer-term perspectives, relationship comparisons and The Guardian.
BaZi is a traditional system of interpretation, not a science. Karmori’s readings and The Guardian’s answers are for reflection and entertainment. They are not predictions of fact and are not medical, mental health, legal, financial, investment or other professional advice.
Please do not make important decisions about your health, safety, money, work or relationships based only on Karmori, and do not use it to decide whether or when to gamble or bet. If you are in crisis or at risk of harm, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, use Karmori or buy a paid plan. By creating an account or paying for a plan, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
Use an email address you control and keep your password private. Your account is for you alone, and you are responsible for activity on it. Tell us promptly at studio@dreamec.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
Your chart and notes are stored on your device, not in your account. Use Export my space to keep a copy; we cannot restore information that was only on a device you lost or cleared.
Some Guardian answers are written by an AI model. AI answers can be incomplete or wrong and should be read as reflection, like the rest of Karmori. The Guardian answers questions about BaZi and Chinese astrology only.
Free accounts include a limited sample of AI answers. Any larger allowance is described in the app. To keep costs fair, AI answers may be limited or paused when an allowance, rate limit or overall spending limit is reached. Guided answers from your chart remain available.
Only add someone as a connection with their birth details if you have their permission. Use comparisons respectfully and never to harass, pressure or discriminate against anyone.
Please do not misuse Karmori. In particular, do not:
We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
Karmori is free to use. Paid plans, such as Karmori Plus, add more features. While a plan is marked as a preview or not on sale, selecting it does not charge you.
When a plan is on sale, its price, billing period and any tax are shown before you pay. Payment is taken by our payment provider, Stripe, and you receive a receipt by email. Your plan starts when the payment, or a free trial, is confirmed. It renews automatically at the end of each period, charging the same payment method, until you cancel it.
Free trial: new members can try Karmori Plus or Pro free for 7 days. You add a payment method when the trial starts, and nothing is charged during the trial. Before you start, we show the price and the date of the first payment, and we email you a reminder with how to cancel. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the plan continues and the first payment is taken automatically at the price shown. Cancelling during the trial means you are not charged. One free trial per account.
You can cancel at any time on the Karmori website in Settings, Plans & pricing, Manage subscription, or by emailing studio@dreamec.com. Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. A plan bought on the website also unlocks your account in the Karmori apps and is managed on the website. Please cancel a subscription before deleting your account, so you are not charged after the account is gone.
If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before then.
14-day refund promise: if you are not happy after your first payment for a plan, email studio@dreamec.com within 14 days of that payment and we will refund it in full and end the plan. This applies wherever you live.
If you are a consumer, your legal rights apply, including any right to cancel within 14 days and receive a refund, and nothing in these terms takes them away. If a paid plan is not provided with reasonable care and skill or as described, tell us and we will put it right or give you a fair refund. For billing questions email studio@dreamec.com.
Karmori’s software, text, readings, artwork and design belong to Dreamec or its licensors. You may use Karmori for your own personal, non-commercial purposes and share your own profile card. You may not copy, resell or reuse Karmori’s content or artwork in other products without our written permission.
We are improving Karmori and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep Karmori available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell you in the app. If we remove a main feature of a paid plan, you can cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current period.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you also keep your legal rights, for example to services provided with reasonable care and skill.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on readings or Guardian answers, for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses. Our total liability to you for any claim about Karmori is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £50 if you paid nothing.
You can stop using Karmori at any time and delete your account from your account settings. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if we stop providing Karmori. If we stop providing Karmori, we will give you reasonable notice where we can so you can export your space. If we end a paid plan for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund what you paid for the period you will not receive.
If you use Karmori through an app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and Dreamec, not Apple or Google, and Dreamec alone is responsible for the app and its content. For the iOS app, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries. The store’s own terms apply to downloading the app.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts.
We may update these terms for a valid reason, such as a change in the law, in how Karmori works or to keep it secure, and will show the new date above. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it applies, and at least 30 days before for a paid plan. If you do not agree, you can stop using Karmori or cancel your plan before the change applies; otherwise the updated terms apply from that date.
